Ping G15 Driver – Higher Trajectories With Lower Spin

Ping G15 Fairway Wood – Increased Stability, Forgiveness and MOI
This fairway wood has an elongated head design which means the clubhead is longer from back to from to provide stability and forgiveness and increase the moment of inertia, or MOI. At address it looks great with the new alignment aid first used in the Rapture woods, which thankfully replaces the moon graphic from previous G fairways. The Ping G15 Fairway Wood also features an external sole weight pad which redistributes weight at the bottom of the clubhead and helps move the centre of gravity lower and further back in the club to provide both a high launch rate and a very low spin rate. Ping have also introduced a new low profile design with the G15 fairway woods which is not only pleasing on the eye and inspires confidence but also helps to move the centre of gravity much lower in the clubhead. The G15 Fairway wood is available with a TFC 149F or Aldila Serrano 75 Fairway shaft.
The G15′s forgiveness factor is rated as Extreme and I could not agree more. There is some workability in it to be sure but I found the G15 primarily wants to go straight. The sweet spot seemed to be most of the face (not quite but pretty close) and shots where you nailed it felt pretty much the same as those where you just missed it.Whilst this club is aimed at all golfers we feel it is ideal for mid to high handicappers as the forgiveness and trajectory are excellent.
